Journal of Advanced Natural Product Research (JANPR) is a peer-reviewed international open access journal that invites original research, review and short reports in all areas of natural products from microorganisms, plants, and animals on land and in water.

JANPR also covers a wide range of topics involving the isolation, structure elucidation, biosynthesis and chemical synthesis of secondary metabolites, from plants, animals and microbes including biotechnological and pharmacological applications.

However, manuscripts relating to the crude extracts and ethnobotany, are not suitable for publication in this journal without strong pharmacological experiments.

The fingerprinting analyses of the natural products are also encouraged to JANPR.

Studies employing molecular docking are encouraged, but experimental results must back them. The JANPR does not consider manuscripts entirely theoretical or computational studies.
